Message from Essex Police

You will have likely seen the footage of public disorder in parts of the country over the last week. Essex Police have confirmed there is no evidence to suggest public disorder will be taking place in the Braintree District or across Essex to date.

    • Confirmed that deliberate disinformation is being spread (especially on social media) which Essex Police is monitoring and analysing – we must all be on our guard against this.

    • We are encouraged to report posts, rumour or concerns around any online forums to Essex Police.
    • Essex Police is taking a zero-tolerance approach to any kind of criminality or criminal ASB this summer.
